Update on the Council meeting - the proposal to develop a consultation strategy was passed 6-2, so that will preserve the clothing optional status, and allow users to have input into any plans that are made for the future of this beach.

Even with this reasonable approach, Cr Humphrey still moved an amendment to call a public meeting , and have that regarded as "consultation" - fortunately the much more reasonable approach prevailed on Tuesday night!

It is now important that beach users get down to the beach, and make sure that their views are heard by Surf Coast Shire - direct emails are good, and keep checking back here, as we will have details of the formal consultation process as soon as they are available!
